We have various folding and creasing machines to cover all requirements. Please see our fold option page for the main folding patterns.
Die and Kiss Cutting
Hover Box Element
Die cutting and kiss cutting requires a cutting die to made. This is then inserted into our platen press. We can die cut folders, tags, invitations, legal corners, tabbed divider sets and door hangers. We also can kiss-cut self-adhesive sheets to make label sheets, ideal for packing labels and picking sheets.
Duplexing
Hover Box Element
Duplexing is the process of gluing or two layers of card together to make a thicker card; triplexing is three layers. Different colours and textures can be used for each layer, ideal for thick, standout business cards.
Embossing
Hover Box Element
Using our platen press we can blind emboss and deboss into paper or card. This can then be combined with duplexing so the image can only be seen from one side.
Foiling
Hover Box Element
We have two options for foiling, either traditional hot foil stamping or a new digital option. The digital option has the added advantage of minimal set up cost and short lead times.
Hole Punching
Hover Box Element
We use special paper drills for making holes. We can drill most combinations and sizes of holes. Standard 2- or 4-hole drilling is ideal for pads and sets that require inserting into binders for record keeping. We can also drill single small holes with or without string, ideal for clothing tags and the retail industry.
Laminating
Hover Box Element
Laminating is a thin clear film that is applied with heat and pressure to one or both sides of card. We have three options, gloss, matt and new velvet soft touch, which is very tactile. Note that laminating should not be confused with encapsulating, which uses thicker film with an overlapping edge to totally seal the card.
Numbering & Perforating
Hover Box Element
All our invoices, NCR pads and sets can be sequentially numbered and perforated, we can also number and perforate tear off raffle tickets and voucher books.
